LUNCH OUT - Eusebi Deli
Genuine, fresh, quality ingredients – the whole vibe of Eusebi’s is homely and welcoming. Every time I visit, its like walking into an Italian Kitchen; there’s atmosphere and flare – passion for food & care for great service. Their take away menu is outstanding as well, I can’t leave the place without taking home some extras for later snacking! BIG LOVE for their coffee, its smooth and creamy and beautiful. My favourite place for a lunch out!
TAKE AWAY PICNIC - Kember & Jones
Always busy (but always busy for a reason), so I love getting a take away picnic from Kember & Jones. Their simple foods are made with beautiful ingredients – anywhere that can make salad taste THAT good has won me over. Their goats cheese salad, with pine nuts and homemade pesto is my go to. They are also a bakery so have a fantastic range of bakes and breads alongside some Kember & Jones branded products – pesto’s, tapenades, salad dressings, granola, muesli, biscotti and amaretti… ALL so delicious!
BRUNCHING - Cafezique
The best eggs benedict in Glasgow – bold statement, but absolutely true. Need I say more?
LIKE TO SHARE? - Ox and Finch
Contemporary, relaxed sharing dining. Their menu is so exciting; you literally cannot choose what to order because it all sounds so delicious! Each time I’ve been, I’ve actually over ordered because I can’t choose – and then over-ate because it’s too good to leave a drop! Their service is informative and attentive, so its a delightful experience on all fronts. Just be sure to book! They are busy busy!
THE HANGOVER CURE - Meat Jam
When we are lying on the sofa, craving a cuddle… and a take away! My flatmate and I without a doubt are ordering a Meat Jam to cure the hangover. Coral always gets the Sweet Chilli Chicken burger, but my favourite is Tattooed Hipster – check them out! Their sweet potato fries and chicken wings are also top of the leader board!
SOMETHING SPECIAL - The Gannet
A stripped back modern Scottish bar and restaurant. The Gannet is probably the best place I have eaten in Glasgow recently, I loved everything about it. Their menu is tailored to the rhythm of the Scottish/British seasons, they serve the best Scottish produce – and support our local divers, fishermen, smokers, farmers, game producers. Beautiful food, and beautifully thoughtful. We were also a little buzzing over the wine from Patagonia!
DESSERT - Loop & Scoop
I know I know, my Loop & Scoop picture is pretty average in comparison to their Insta snaps… but I was half way through my churro when I realised I should document the moment! 12 flavours of homemade gelato, and freshly made churros topped with hot molten sauces and crunchy toppings. Thankfully I stay in the city centre, otherwise the 8pm sugar cravings would have me on Great Western Road every night!
